Prof.Dr. Nilgun BAYDOGAN focuses on the synthesis of biocompatible optical products using sol-gel techniques. Her work includes the development of ophthalmic layers with optimized physical properties and biopolymeric structures, the study of gamma-ray attenuation in biocompatible polymers.
Prof.Dr. Nilgun BAYDOGAN’s research extends to the evaluation of polymers for biomedical and radiotherapy applications, while also investigating environmental biotechnological perspectives and developments in applied and biotechnological applications. She also investigates thin films designed for biomedical surfaces.
